Well with the Kentucky derby coming to a close and Richmond’s may race ending in Heat what is next. Things are starting to heat up for UEFA Euro 2008 tickets. All race fans, were treated to great races whether they were cheering for their favorite driver and car or their favorite throughbreed. Clint Boyer took advantage of a questionable hit on Dale Earnhardt Jr from Kyle Busch to take the victory at Richmond. Out west in Louisville, for the fourth time in 21 years the favorite had won the Kentucky Derby. Big Brown also became the second horse ever to win the most exciting 2 minutes in sports from the number 20 gate.

This weekend’s NFL Draft is going to be the kickoff to a very exiting 2008 NFL season. With the Dolphin’s announcement that they will take Michigan left tackle Jake Long as the No. 1 overall draft pick, there still remains a great deal of uncertainty regarding where the rest of this year’s NFL freshman class will head. With such players as LSU’s JaMarcus Russell, Georgia Tech’s Calvin Johnson,   and Virginia’s Chris Long still up for grabs this year’s NFL Draft could prove to be very exciting especially with such teams as the Falcons, Ravens, and Eagles looking to have very competitive 2008 seasons.

A recent magazine had a Turkey Sports Poll which quizzed over 800 sports executives on what is the most prestigious sporting event. This past weekends exciting race at Martinsville has made the upcoming Crown Royal 400 race at Richmond a more demanding ticket. Well it will be upon us very soon as the elite 8 will be decided this weekend. NCAA basketball is one of the most fun things to watch, especially if you have your teams picked out in brackets. My final 4 picks are Tennessee, Memphis, Texas, and UCLA. I realize that North Carolina has been unstoppable so it will be nearly impossible for Tennessee to beat UNC. First games tomorrow night will be great fun to watch, and Im sure will be real nail biters. Well Tiger Wood’s impresssive winning streak has come to an end. Tiger suffered his first defeat since September 3rd, thats six months ago. The four time Masters Champion finished behind tournament winner Geoff Ogilvy, talented Retief Goosen, 2000 Masters Champion Vijay Singh, and crowd pleaser Jim Furyk. Even through defeat it was obvious that all that was on his mind was to not only win the upcoming 2008 Masters, but sweep all four majors. Tiger will get his chance to accomplish this amazing feat he can start by winning his fifth Masters green jacket. However, judging by this weekend’s past tournament his competition has made it clear that the 2008 Masters will not be a walk in the park for Tiger. Of course you can never count out Phil Mickelson, Fred Couples, or 2007 dark horse champion Zach Johnson.
